Now, I do have strong reservations about actions that would be classified as "politicizing the war on terror". Having a presidential candidate make the claim "X is a real and present threat and I would be the best choice of candidates to protect you from X" is utterly valid though (and so is challenging that person's claim!), and no, Keith Olbermann, making such claims is not paramount to saying you want to kill someone.
