Because someone drew an imaginary line, called where you live a district, and there happened to be a bunch of assholes who think just like Schumer on your side of the line. Tough luck I guess.
But hey, at least he didn't fly to Michael Jackson's funeral on taxpayer money, like Sheila Jackson Lee. Yeah, she represents the poorest district in Houston, TX. Funny thing is, she's from New York.
